There’s no one right reason to come to therapy

Whether you're in the middle of something hard or just starting to ask deeper questions

Some people arrive in crisis. Others come because something just feels off. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship stress, grief, trauma, or a life transition, therapy offers space to explore, reflect, and grow. I work with individuals, couples, and families using a whole-person approach that honors your story, your values, and your goals.

Sometimes you’re doing all the right things—showing up, staying busy, keeping it together—but underneath, something just doesn’t feel right. Individual therapy offers a space that’s just for you. A place to slow down, speak freely, and explore what’s weighing on you with support, curiosity, and care. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, or a deeper sense of disconnect, you don’t have to sort through it alone.

Relationships take work, but that work doesn’t have to be done in the dark. Couples therapy creates a space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and supported in building something stronger. Whether you’re facing communication breakdowns, trust issues, or simply want to reconnect in a more meaningful way, we’ll work together to untangle what’s getting in the way and help you move forward.

Families are where we learn how to relate, cope, and communicate—but they can also be where our hardest dynamics live. When tension runs high or connection feels lost, family therapy offers a safe space to work through it together. We’ll explore patterns, improve communication, and support each member of the family in finding their voice and place. Healing doesn’t mean being perfect; it means moving toward more understanding, stability, and connection at home.

Some experiences stay with us—not just in memory, but in how we think, feel, and respond to the world. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps the brain process traumatic or distressing events. You don’t need to retell every detail. We’ll move at your pace, with a focus on building safety first. The goal is to help you feel less stuck in the past and more free in your present.

In addition to my therapy work, I offer speaking engagements and workshops for churches, schools, teams, and community groups. I draw on both my clinical training and lived experience to share thoughtful, tailored messages that connect with real people navigating real-life challenges.

My talks are designed to support mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. I regularly speak on topics such as depression, anxiety, trauma-informed caregiving for children and adolescents, Alzheimer’s and dementia, menopause and mental health, and marriage betrayal and rebuilding. Whether I’m speaking to leaders, caregivers, or faith communities, my goal is always to inform, encourage, and help others move forward on their journey toward healing.

To book a workshop or speaking engagement, feel free to reach out through the contact page or call me directly at 704.661.3694.
