Maybe you're here because something feels stuck. Maybe you're navigating a relationship that's hit a wall, or you're carrying pain that feels too heavy to bear alone. Perhaps you're an adolescent wondering who you're becoming, or a parent watching your family struggle to connect.

Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: your story matters, and you don't have to figure this out by yourself.

You Don't Have to Carry This Alone

first things first

I believe in the healing power of relationships—the ones we have with others and the one we build with ourselves. I’m continually moved by the courage it takes to show up and do this work. Therapy is not just about fixing what’s broken; it’s about reconnecting with what’s been there all along: your strength, your wisdom, your capacity to heal.

what grounds me

REACH OUT

I specialize in walking alongside older adolescents, adults, couples, and families through their hardest moments and biggest questions.

My approach isn't just about your thoughts or your feelings—it's about all of you. I use a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model, which is a clinical way of saying I see you as a whole person. Your emotions, body, relationships, spiritual life, and family history all have a place in the therapy room.

Support for your whole self

My approach

You'll experience a mix of gentle exploration and practical tools. I draw from CBT and DBT to help you understand patterns and build coping strategies. I also integrate attachment theory to explore how early experiences shape your current relationships.

I work through a systemic lens, which means we’ll look at the broader systems that shape your life—your family dynamics, workplace, faith, and cultural background. Healing happens in relationship, and the trust we build together is the foundation for meaningful growth.

How we work together

SHaped by your story

I'm a Pacific Northwest native who recently made the move to Charlotte, NC from Oregon, still adjusting to the humidity but loving the warmth of Southern hospitality. When I'm not in session, you'll usually find me out walking my dogs, spending time with my husband, or tracking down a great cup of coffee.

I'm passionate about good food, meaningful travel, and those quiet evenings at home where the best conversations happen. I believe the work we do in therapy doesn’t stop when the session ends; it helps you build a life that feels authentic, connected, and full of possibility.

Beyond the therapy room

I hold an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from George Fox University and a B.S. in Psychology and Family Studies from Corban University. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and have been certified in addiction counseling through the Mental Health and Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (CADCI).

Over the past 10+ years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families across private practice, residential, and outpatient settings. I also bring over two decades of experience teaching psychoeducation, parenting, and marriage classes in community and faith-based spaces. My clinical training includes work with adolescents at Northwest Behavioral Healthcare Services and trauma-informed care through Marion County Victim Assistance, where I was trained in sexual abuse, partner violence, and crisis intervention.

I currently serve on the Clinical Service Committee for Psychology For All, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to mental health care in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
